Using the cheap heat from the geo-thermal energy production plant, the Tropical garden project is added to the project of spa and water park as additional attraction for the visitors and will as well produce a large quantity of tropical fruit, spices and fish for sale in a specialized whole sale market in Croatia and neighboring countries. A cooperation with the creators of “Tropenhaus” the company Seecon GmbH formed by Dr. Johannes Heeb and his partners has been established. “Seecon “is the designer of the existing 2 “Tropenhaus” projects in Wolhusen and Frutigen in Switzerland and a third “Tropenhaus” is under construction in Bavaria, Germany. Tropical Garden project will be partially integrated with the water park (this is why a new building permit joining both projects, instead of the existing one only for the water park, will be asked now from the authorities) and the new investment cost is estimated to 14,0 million EUR. Planned revenue of the Tropical Gardens in its full operation is € 6 million p.a. generating € 2 mill EBITDA p.a.
For all above phases the complete investment programmes and business plans are already accomplished as well as the debt/loan financing conditions for their realisation are agreed with the local commercial and development banks.
